What is Nine and why is it so popular in Bangladesh?
Nine is one of the most familiar card games in Bangladesh, from villages to cities. For generations, this game has brought families and friends together.
Nine is essentially a team card game where four players split into two teams and compete against each other. The main goal is to score the required points and defeat the opposing team. Memory, strategy and coordination with your team — these three qualities are what set a skilled Nine player apart from an ordinary one.
ek778 has brought this traditional game into the digital world, where you can play anytime, from anywhere. Playing Nine on the ek778 platform is not just entertainment — it is a completely safe, fair and exciting experience.
The core rules of Nine

Deck and Players
Nine is played with a standard 52-card deck. Typically four players split into two teams and sit facing each other.

In each round, players bid on how many tricks they can win. The trump suit determines which cards will be the strongest.
Bid System TrumpPoint Counting
The winning team earns points by fulfilling their bid; failing to do so results in points being deducted. The team that reaches the set point target wins the game.

Trump cards are stronger than non-trump cards. In a non-trump suit, the player holding the highest card wins that trick.

Strategies to master Nine
Nine is not just a game of luck. Playing with the right strategy and focus can significantly increase your chances of winning.
Experienced Nine players always keep track of both the cards in their own hand and the cards played by their opponents. Tracking which suits have already been played helps you understand the right moment to use trump cards and high cards.
In team play, it is important to get a sense of your partner's cards. Knowing when to play a low card to let your partner win a trick, and when to use a trump card — these decisions are what identify a good Nine player.
Be patient when playing Nine at ek778 and keep your budget under control. Build confidence by practicing in practice mode before moving to real-money play. Playing responsibly is the key to long-term enjoyment.
